Dr. Jamil Anis Aboulhosn is a cardiologist who specializes in adult congenital heart disease. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is the current Director of the Ahmanson/UCLA Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center. He currently holds the Streisand Chair in Cardiology at UCLA. Dr. Aboulhosn is the Chair elect and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for the Adult Congenital Heart Association. He is a renowned ACHD specialist with a focus on interventions and imaging in this population. He has performed and participated in a variety of clinical research projects in the field of adult congenital heart disease. He and his Center are involved in a number of multi-center clinical research trials, and he is a founding member and former president of the Associations for Adult Research in Congenital Cardiology (AARCC). He serves on the ACHD Guideline Writing Committee for the ACC/AHA and the ABIM ACHD Board Examination Writing Committee.
